A member asked:

Can running improve lung capacity and reduce asthma symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and no: Running improves stamina and lung function but is not an asthma treatment. Running can cause an asthma attack but can be prevented by use of an inhaler prior to running.
