It will improve.: Provisional (temp) bridges can often feel that way. It depends on what was present before. If you had missing teeth, now tht you have teeth on the bridge, its certainly going to feel different. You will get accoustmed to them pretty ealisly.

Different: Some of the bulk is probably coming from trying to give the temporary more strength. The "permanent" bridge will be much stronger and a good dental technician will make it feel very much like your natural teeth.

No: Ask your dentist to adjust the size and shape of the temporary bridge. Most of the bulk can be reduced in the temporary. But the permanent should feel much thinner and smoother.

Same: You should feel comfortable with the new bridge within a few days. If the teeth are too large the dentist can resphape it and repolish it.

Better: Temporary bridges are often not like permanent ones because of the materials from which they are made. Hopefully you will find your permanent bridge more like your natural teeth.

No: Permanent bridge would be less bulkier. Please consult your dentist to improve the temporary bridge.

It should be perfect: A well done prothesis should feel comfortable and esthetic, please let the doctor be aware otherwise so can be fixed, do not worry it is very easy to adjust it.

Depends: Depends on the quality and caliber of the dental lab and the dentist. A temporary bridge when made ideally should replicate what the per enact bridge should feel like. Dental labs are only as good as the impressions and additional information your dentist provides to them.

Probably different: The material used as temps are different than those of the final bridge. They are not as strong, hence sometimes can be bulky. The contours of the final bridge should feel more natural. Remember even the final bridge may take some time to getting used to.

No: The temporary bridge is thicker because it is plastic and needs bulk for strength. However, if this is your first bridge and the space has been present for some time, your tongue may initially feel the bridge is too bulky. Eventually this feeling will go away once you have the bridge for awhile.
