Bile ducts blocked: This could mean that you have a retained common bile duct stone or that you have sustained a bile duct injury from your surgery. An ultrasound will demonstrate dilated ducts if the stone is causing an obstruction. A hida scan may demonstrate a bile leak or no flow into the small intestine.
