A member asked:

I have pains in upper/lower stomach and a migraine . it's that bad i can barely move . can't eat or drink. is this serious? i go see doc on tuesday

A doctor has provided 1 answer

12 hour flu: Many migraine patients describe their migraines as being like having the flu. Often with severe pain, nausea, vomiting, lethargy, weakness, confusion, misery that resolves to normal after sleep. Abrupt onset, severe disability, and then complete resolution only occurs with migraine. No other condition does that if otherwise medically healthy. A thorough medical evaluation would be appropriate.
