Common with Chemo: Metallic taste is common with many medications such as some antibiotics and with chemotherapy medications such as roaccutane. However, it would be advisable to consult with your dentist to make sure that you don't have gum disease or an abscessed tooth. These conditions can also cause a metallic taste.
