Stay the course: The fact that pus is flowing now should cause the symptoms (pain and fever) to diminish soon. If you have been using the same antibiotic for 8 weeks, the bacteria are now resistant to it. Another antibiotic is needed, but a procedure (root canal or extraction) is the ultimate solution. There may be another tooth involved, as well.

Maybe: If you are not having extreme swelling or trouble breathing or a high fever than just wait and see your dentist otherwise go to an urgent care.

Emergency care: 8 weeks of ineffective antibiotic treatment risks ending up with a hard to treat infection of your jaw bone (osteomyelitis). You likely need broader spectrum antibiotic therapy now followed by either extraction or root canal treatment as suggested by another. Further delay risks the need for IV antibiotics and additional surgical drainage.
