Get X-rays : Pain that develops in the wrist several years after your injury needs to be evaluated by a hand surgeon with x-rays. It is unlikely at the screws are coming out, but x-rays will provide helpful information.

Unlikely: But you may be developing arthritis if you previous fracture had damage the joint. You will need to repeat the x-rays to be sure what is going on.
