Insomnia: Sleep deprivation has an acute mood elevating effect for a limited time , the following day. It has been observed in research settings. It can't be sustained more than 1 night as negative effects start to occur. So i imagine you experience this episodically. If you have no ill effect , reap the benefits. However, it could suggest a sleep or mood disorder is present.
