Heterochromia: What you are describing is a condition called heterochromia, which simply means "different color." there are a number of causes of this relatively rare condition. Dark eye light eye: Could be a benign condition called iris heterochromia, but it could also indicate eye disease. I would recommend that you take your child to a pediatric ophthalmologist for a full eye exam.
