A member asked:

How can a child have blue eyes when both parents have dark brown eyes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Brown dominant: Two brown eyed parents that produce a blue eyed child are both carriers of the blue eye recessive gene. Brown dominates. They both have bb for eye color. This means a 1/4 chance for blue, a 50% chance for bb carrier brown, a 25% chance for full bb brown.
