I have had synovitis of my index finger since september. its still swollen tender and stiff all day everyday. how long or will it ever go away?

Synovitis? : Sounds like you have already seen someone about your joints. I hope they have done an evaluation for inflammatory arthritis and have a working diagnosis. Prognosis of synovitis in general is very good. It usually responds to time and medication. But you must know what is causing it before blindly pulling out the drugs.

Not specific enough: Synovitis means inflammation of synovium. It can come from a variety of causes including infections. You need to see a physician.
