Invisalign: Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment using clear plastic appliances to correct different types of malocclusion. It works well in most cases. It is not always the best way to correct some problems involving the teeth and jaws. More complex cases may need full banding and sometime jaw surgery. See your dentist or an orthodontist, .

No: Invisalign can treat most teeth alignment. But there are certain cases that might require traditional orthodontics with wires and brackets or even surgery.

No: Clear aligner treatment may not be for every patient; however, the only way to determine if it appropriate for your particular situation is to make an appointment with your licensed orthodontic specialist.

Yes: As long as there are enough teeth in each arch to act as support and anchorage. I did have one person that was allergic to the aligners and I have heard of severe gaggers that have problems with initially getting use to the sensation but even they are successful. What are your concerns?

Yes: They for work teens who have most of their permanent teeth... Until any age. They also work on children, but the orthodontist has to have a scanner in the office and two phases are usually needed... So much more expensive.

Not exactly: Although invisalign is an exceptional appliance, it cannot be used on everyone. There are specific conditions/situations where use of the appliance alone may not be appropriate. An orthodontist experienced with the appliance will be in the best position to assess your candidacy and answer your questions.

Of course: However, Invisalign doesn't make the best choice for correcting all types of deep overbite, malocclusion or other orthodontic disorders. See your orthodontist for examination, imaging and treatment options.

Yes if indicated: Not all dentition are suitable for Invisalign. Treatment depends upon the severity of the crowding and your bite. Get more than one opinion, if need be, and listen to options.

Yes & No: Can? yes. Should? no. Your problem should be fully evaluated by a fully qualified Orthodontic Specialist. If diagnostic parameters warrant, clear aligner therapy can be considered. Know that aligners statistically are only about half as effective as the gold standard, braces, at correcting malocclusion. See a Pro, see an Orthodontist.
