Absolutely NOT: The vaccine is a killed vaccine - no live bacteria used to make it, so no way you can get the disease from the vaccine. That's why we now use killed polio vaccine (when i was a kid we had live polio on the ole sugar cube!), so no chance of disease form the vaccine. You can get some minor side effects form any vaccine as your immune system gears up, but will not get the disease. What a relief!
