20/200: The legal definition of blindness is 20/200 in the best eye or a field of vision that is 20 degrees or less in the best eye. So technically there are patients with tunnel vision and 20/40 vision that are legally blind!

See below. : A person is considered to be legally blind if he or she has a best corrected vision of 20/200 in their best seeing eye. If an individual has a visual field of 20 degrees or (tunnel vision) they may also be considered legally blind.
