Not related: A common definition for legal blindness would be a vision of 20/200 or worse in the best eye with correct glasses or contacts and/or a visual field of 20 degrees or less in the best eye. Diopters are related to the glasses or contact lens prescription which is not related to legal blindness. A common misconception is that the power of glasses has anything to do with legal blindness. It doesn't.
