How does surgery to repair an aneurysm work?

Replace dilation: An aneurysm is an abnormal dilation of a blood vessel. Traditional approach involves resecting the abnormal part and sewing in a replacement synthetic tube. Endovascular repair is another technique that deploys the synthetic graft from inside the vessel avoiding open surgery.

Very well!: Location size risk factors are all important items but open surgery replaces the aneurysm with a dacron or other type of graft sewn in place endovascular places a graft inside the aneurysm and deflates it.
