Need diagnosis first: There are many different potential causes of knee pain. In order to "fix" your knee pain, you will first need to see an orthopaedist to diagnose the problem. Once the source of the problem has been identified, appropriate treatment can be prescribed. This may include medication, physical therapy, or surgery.
