I had a bone sticking out of me in my thigh once. what type of fracture is this?

Open?: If it was sticking thru the skin it would b an angulated open fracture, contaminated 2 some degree depending on if just open and confined in clothing is less contaminated than if it stuck into a manure pile, more contaminated the greater the chance of infection. If just puckers the skin but no penetratin thru, it is a closed angulated fracture. Xray may show simple, comminuted, intraarticular ..
