Get treatment: Osteoporosis is silent. It does not cause symptoms. It shows up on studies down for other reasons, or with fracture (broken bone) of the weakened bone. If someone relatively young like you has it, a thorough assessment by a mineral metabolism specialist (internal medicine subspecialist, often an endocrinologist) is recommended, as several things can cause bone loss besides osteoporosis.

Symptoms?: Osteoporosis is basically thinning of the bone which increases risk of fractures but is generally pain free by itself. If you are having bone pain, something else is probably going on.
