Fracture: Osteoporosis in anyone is silent until there is a fracture. Even many spine fractures are silent insofar as the person didn't know they had osteoporosis until an x ray showed collapse of a vertebra or even multiple vertebrae. The classic " doweger hump" can be the only clue to the the diagnosis. In pregnancy this would not likely occur.
