Painful mass/cancer: Ewing's sarcoma can occur in bone and soft tissues. They tend to be painful when in the bone and the less common soft tissue tumors are usually painless. Common locations are the in the pelvis and lower extremities. Many factors figure into chances of survival, but as any cancer, ewing's may be deadly. Excellent treatments exist currently and overall chances of beating the disease are about 70%.
