Can you please discuss the daily intake for a child that is 12 yrs old?

Depends: A twelve year old who weighs 70lb is going to have a very different calorie requirement than one who weights 150lbs. Additionally, it will be different for girls than for boys. In general, if the child is growing normally then the calorie intake is probably ok. A question frequently neglected in this age group is: are the calories being consumed by this child from good sources of nutrition?

Regular Diet: Regular balance diet unless he has other problems. It varies with activities also. If athletic they tend to eat more. Consult grouth chart with pediatrician. Thanks.
