A member asked:

Thallium dipyridamole stress test with the radioactive chemical given is it true that it is dangerous to be near babies and children after procedure?

No: The amount of thallium given during a stress test is between 20 and 30 times less than the level where you are releasing enough radiation to be of concern. The half life of thallium is short. To be extra careful i wouldn't be worried after 24 hrs at most.

Really minimal: Time and distance are the principles for major radiation, but this is already minimal.
