Cough 1 month: This is a serious problem. You should contact your pediatrician or family doctor to obtain an examination to determine the cause of the cough. There are many possibilities of the cause. When the cause is determined , proper treatment can be given to get your child well.

This is also why its worse at night, when you are lying down. New fever, an increase in coughing or difficulty breathing should prompt you to see a doctor.
