Carpal tunnel.: Sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome - a compression of the median nerve in the tunnel as it enters the wrist. Usually causes numbness / tingling in the first three digits of the hand. Treatment is rest / splint and non steroidal anti-inflammatory meds.
