Are there potential issues combining 450mg 5htp with 75mg pregabalin? been on 5htp for a year, pregabalin for 3 days and arms are itching and i feel a bit strange. i have bad migraine.

Drug Interactions: Before you discontinue any medication you must discuss with your primary physician. But from what you described the 5 HTP may be causing an interaction with the pregabalin. I have not been able to find an interaction researching these medications but it doesn't mean one does not exist. I strongly suggest you discuss this with local physician ASAP to make changes in your regimen.

There are no: "DIRECT" contraindications with simultaneous use of the medicine you are taking HOWEVER you may be having an "idiosyncratic" reaction to the drugs. Speak with your Pain management/Neurologist prescriber of the meds about how you feel! Hope this helps Dr Z
