How long does the swelling last after getting hit in the nose?

Depends: The time depends upon: where on the nose your sustained the trauma, how hard you were hit (did you have a nose bleed), has your nose lost symmetry (even though swollen) if so could be broken. Generally if it were just a good bump to the nose, the swelling should in majority resolve in a week or more. Did you get black eyes? That would indicate a hard blow and broken blood vessels...Hard to tell...
