MRI: Mri does not diagnose ms. Your doctor (neurologist) will put all the pieces together and give you a diagnosis. Have you had a spinal tap? There is lab work that would still need to be done. Impression: Your focal ankle clonus suggests a spinal cord problem, and your additional symptoms, which you do not describe, might be caused by a host of disorders. Have you had MRI studies of spinal cord? Have you seen a neurologist? Not clear to med that you have completed a full evaluation to date.
