A member asked:

Do i have a higher risk of getting anemia if o took too many antibiotics when i was a child?

No: Only one particular antibiotic, used many years ago (chloramphenicol) is know to be a cause of anemia. Just because you took many antibiotics years ago, it is no reason to suspect anemia as being due to taking them.

No: The commonest cause of anemia, especially in women is iron deficiency from excessive menstrual blood loss. The antibiotics you took as a child do not put you at risk of anemia.
