Depends: Having had a prior tubal pregnancy places you at risk for future tubal pregnancies. However, that is not a cause for in vitro. Your doctor knows more about your current tubal status and may have made that recommendation based on that. If at all concerned, see a fertility specialist for further recommendations if in vitro fertilization is needed at this time.
