Trospium: Spasmex is trospium, an anticholinergic medication used to treat overactive bladder. It is a category c medication in pregnancy which means that adverse effects are unknown " risk cannot be ruled out". The drug should only be taken if the perceived benefits to the user outweigh the potential risks to the fetus.

Different: Usually used for bladder spasms not pregnancy in my experience. It will be interesting to see what the other doctors have to say.
