If the dates provided ("13 weeks") of your pregnancy are accurate, and you are sexually active, the bleeding may come from cervical inflammation, not the pregnancy. Giving progesterone at 13 weeks will not correct the production of progesterone from the placenta, and will not effect the growing fetus adversely.
