A member asked:

Is it possible for ears to stop producing wax; and if so why does it happen and is it harmful in the long run? 29yrs old, started within last 2 months

Forget about it: Don't worry about your ears and wax. Leave them alone and as long as they don't bother you, you are fine. Wax protects the ear canal skin and if your ear canal skin is happy then you have nothing to concern yourself with. Problems occur when people try to clean their ear canals and that causes a huge amount of problems including itching, infection and wax obstruction.
