A member asked:

Do you have a sleeping disorder if you wake up, body frozen, mind awake and you sense/feel/see scary hallucinations, feel heavy weight. 'sinking feel'?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Consult your MD: It sounds like you're experiencing sleep paralysis: has been linked to disorders such as narcolepsy, migraines, anxiety disorders, and obstructive sleep apnea; however, it can also occur in isolation. Consult with your primary md - he may want to refer you for further work-up.
