Other cause: You're not eating those hot little mexican peppers, are you? These mimic infectious urethritis. If not, your physician will want to treat you with something to cover trichomonas and chlamydia. Remember partners need to be treated also or you'll simply catch it again. Good luck.

? autoimmune disease: White cells in the urine are a sign of inflammation. The majority of the time, that inflammation is caused by bacterial infection, but there could be other conditions causing this, such as autoimmune conditions. Please see a physician. S/he may ask whether joint pain is present, and any family history of lupus, or other similar diseases.
