I took a tea called ginkgo. on the 3rd day i developed a condition that my throat kinda closed up & made it hard to breathe. benadryll didn't help. i already stopped taking the tea & i still have it.?

Check for allergy: If you have an acute allergic reaction you should check with your pcp for possible course of steroid management.

Yikes!: Breathing is non-negotiable. If your throat feels like it's closing up and you're having trouble breathing, you need an evaluation. Of course, do not drink any more of the offending substance! but you may need allergy testing, a short course of anti-inflammatory steroids, or an inhaled medication to open your airways. Some doctors may even suggest an epi-pen: an injection to self-administer!
