One possibility: One possibility for a woman to have trouble losing weight while doing all the appropriate weight loss methods is pcos (polycystic ovary syndrome). There are other symptoms including difficulty getting pregnant. Good idea to see an ob/gyn.

Not losing weight: Hcg is not approved by fda as weight loss med due to concerns of safety & effectiveness supposed to be used with ultra-low-calorie diet (less than 500). It can overstimulate ovaries & cause edema & weight gain. Fda believes wt loss solely due to caloric restriction. See fp, who will probably advise stopping HCG & lower caloric intake. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/calorie-calculator/nu00598.

Not Enuf Info: Hcg "pills" not shown to be effective. Best results with HCG are by daily injections. Hcg diet recommendation is 500-700 cal/day. Also, you may be hypothyroid, or hyperinsulinemic. For thyroid replacement, i recommend armour nat thyroid, + iodine. Also, consider metformin 500 mg 3 times/day, plus the herb, berberine. Metformin and berberine are effective for pcos.

U R on wrong diet: The HCG diet was originally developed by a.T.W. Simeons M.D. During the 1940's -1950's. It has been used all over the world for over 50 years. This method is extremely safe & effective when used under the care of an experienced & trained md. Apparently HCG has an effect on your hypothalamus, increasing adiponectin levels & reducing leptin resistance. The method must be followed strictly to work.

Won't work: Pills are fake. You need a qualified physician to administer correctly the injection HCG and the original 500 calorie diet with strict adherence. The diet only works on abnormal fat and once you rid yourself of abnormal fat you will not lose any more weight on the HCG diet.
