How dangerous is coffee to a week old pregnancy?

Low dose probably ok: Simple answer: it is very unlikely that caffeine intake below 200 mg per day is harmful. Many women consume far more than that during pregnancy. However, things such as this are very difficult to prove and no better answer will be forthcoming any time soon.

Not at all.: Relax - if you just found out you are pregnant, your coffee consumption has not affected your fetus. Take Folic Acid 1-5 mg daily, see your ob/gyn asap and best of luck! moderate caffeine consumption in pregnancy is safe. Excessive intake can lead to pregnancy loss and poor fetal growth/.
