I took cipro (ciprofloxacin) a year ago and ever since had periodic achilles pain. (both feet) now it has increased as sharp pain more often. could this be tears?

Most likely yes?: As of 2011 the fda has added two black box warnings for this drug in reference to spontaneous tendon ruptures.Tendonitis and other forms of tendon damage may manifest during fluoroquinolone therapy, and long after it had been discontinued.
