Depends: At this point the kids predicted height based on normal growth is 6'1" , but to reach 5'11" at 12 would suggest he will be taller. If his bone maturity index (obtained from hand x-ray) shows a 12 yr pattern & not 17, then he has potential for about 2.5 inches/yr until done.You can download a growth chart from www.Cdc.Gov/growthcharts & follow this by plotting his heights at different ages.
