Second opinion: Not all specialists are created equal, and each specialist has different subspecialties and interests. There may very well be another orthopedic surgeon than can help you with your walking. You can also seek a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist that also specializes in walking and gait. Definitely seek a second or third opinion!
