YES: One of the reasons why drinking and driving is illegal is that alcohol in one's system slows down one's reaction time. If you have to suddenly slam on the brakes or veer away to avoid an accident, and you're travelling at 65 mph, you're going just over 95 feet per second. Imagine of your reaction is slowed by just one second; it could mean a person or persons could be killed.
