Alcohol: Actually alcohol is a depressant. When people start to drink they may get loud and more active, but that is because the alchol is depressing there part of the brain that keeps them under control. As people continue to drink they usually become less active and ultimately pass out. Depression for a few days may mean you are allergic to alcohol which about 10 to 15 % of people are.
