Lassa Fever: Incubation period is 6 to 21 days. Sx's are mild in 80% of cases. Mild cases- low fever, headache, conjunctivitis, weakness & malaise. In more severe cases sx's may include– nausea, bloody emesis or diarrhea, sore throat, bleeding of gums, eyes, nose, hearing loss, tremors, facial swelling, difficulty swallowing, pain of abdomen, chest and back, cough, shortness of breath, rapid heart rate, low
