Ribs: No studies have shown that the size of the individual bones make you more susceptible to injury. The amount of calcium or strength if the bones is what matters and the relative loss of this is called osteopenia early on as you age and osteoporosis as you get older. This explains why when grandma falls she breaks her femur and when an 20 year old falls they get back up and go.
