A member asked:

Is it possible to get a hysterectomy because i have pcso syndrome?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not that in gen: You would do it for pain (with intercourse especially pointing to some uterine prolapse; irregular bleeding that is painful, etc. Bleeding and pain are the most common reasons and 95% of hysterectomies are elective; the pcos may contribute to side effects that can give reason, watch the hrt if you get the ov out, i would get on a low dose estrogen b/c the risks are very low and you will feel bad.
