Mild Exercise: The "food coma" is a result of blood moving from your arms, legs and brain to your gut to digest the food which also requires energy. After consuming large meals your body may feel lethargic. Try walking or doing mild non-stressful activities during this time to keep blood flowing to other parts of your body. Eating smaller meals more frequently will also reduce the effects of said "coma".
