Malignantbrain tumor: Malignant brain tumor more commonly diagnosed in the childhood usually localized in cerebellum so commonly children will have walking unsteadiness, headaches irritabilty survival rate varies with age of child, amount of tumor left behind and metastases. Although survival is less than 15 % at 2 years for children less than 3.

It depends: Atrt is a dreaded brain tumor. Almost all patients with this disease died in years past. However, doctors are getting better with the treatments and now survival rates are much better, especially for children >3 year of age. Survival is poor in patients with tumors that cannot be removed and/or the cancer has spread to other parts of the brain.
