I was told i could have post concussion syndrome or something like that. could i have it from something that happened a year ago?

Yes: Post concussion syndrome although usually short lived, days to weeks, following a concussion can in a minority of patients last for over a year. Symptoms include headache, dizziness, fatigue, anxiety, insomnia , difficulty concentrating, noise and light sensitivity. If you have not already had further diagnostic studies such as MRI and possibly neuro psych testing would consider. See neurologist.
