No research based: Assuming you had appropriate therapy (surgery and/or radiation/chemo), close follow is the most important thing for you. There is no specific research I am aware of to recommend a specific supplement. A balanced diet, with lots of fruits and vegtables would be good, along with a multi-vitamin. Your pcp or oncologist may consider blood work to look for specific vitamin deficiencies like vit d.

Big diff: Glossitis is simply inflammation of the tongue. You might mean benign migratory glossitis -- geographic tongue. The color changes over time in different areas.This is on top of tongue. Nothing to worry about. Cancer involving the tongue is something to worry about. Most common location is on sides of tongue and under it. Most often shows as red and white lesion often ulcerated. Not too rapid.
